MARINA KLAUSER
Marina Klauser was born in the depths of the 80s in a small village in Switzerland. She studied directing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. After a few years abroad, she returned to her home country to additionally study screenwriting at the Zurich University of the Arts. So far she has directed several internationally evaluated short films and is currently writing a historical tragedy à la Barry Lyndon and is head writer of a dramedy series for SRF. She has a good sense for humorous storytelling, likes whimsical situations, character actors and elaborate decor.

Simon Steuri
After a successful career as a radio presenter Simon Steuri decided to follow his love for film. His graduate short film “Vandalen” (vandals) received international recognition. Today he lives and works in Los Angeles. Time and time again in his work, he captures the poetic moments of everyday life and the authentic beauty in our surroundings in his work.

Lukas Wälli
Burning with curiosity for the life and people of the Far East, Lukas found himself working in Cambodia, China, India and Japan, where he adopted a truly personal style to his work. Fascinated by painting with light and shadow, he created a whole range of visually gripping films for high-end clients like IWC, Schweiz Tourimus and Sonova. His work is best described as deeply touching, due to its purity, truthfulness and emotional authenticity, all the while providing a big heart for subtle aesthetics.

Wendy Pillonel
Wendy Pillonel was born in 1986 in Estavayer-le-Lac, Switzerland. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Design from the University of Arts, Bern she moved to Zurich to complete her masters at the ZHdK (Zurich University of Arts). Her first feature film “Les Éclipsées” (The Eclipsed) was chosen at the Upcoming Lab at the Solothurner Filmtage (the Solothurn Film Days) as well as at the Le Village des Écoles (Film School Village) at the Les Arcs Film Festival in France. Wendy’s passion does not just burn for feature films but also for documentaries and advertising.

Pierre Castillo Bernard
Currently based in Berlin, Pierre Castillo Bernard received his education in storytelling and lighting for film, at the world-renowned film academy Baden-Württemberg. It was there that Pierre developed his own unique style as a DOP. A style which has imparted a one-of-a-kind energy and quality to a multitude of films since 2009. Sandro Baebler
Sandro Baebler is a celebrity, portrait, advertising and editorial photographer as well as a director. He studied graphic design in Zurich where he developed an eye for stunning visual concepts and compositions, which helped him to define his current style as both a director and photographer. His work has appeared in Elle, GQ, Vanity Fair, Wired, L'Officiel Hommes, Zeit and Rolling Stone. In recent times he has been fascinated by film and has transformed his unique style into beautifully directed pieces. As a director, Sandro combines the precision and earthiness from his Swiss roots with vitality and empathy from his frequent travels.

Vlady Valentin Oszkiel
Vlady is a film director and editor. His commercial work has included advertisements and clips for clients like Nike, Volkswagen, BMW and Phillips. In the summer of 2016 he directed his first feature "Lieblingsmenschen". Since then he has been working skillfully as a director in every facet of film making.

Yvies Scagliola was born in 1972 in Zurich. From 1993-97 he studied philosophy, English studies and journalism at the university of Fribourg. After graduating, he worked as a freelance journalist in Asia and Europe. Yvies has been following his passion for film since 1995. Today he works as an independent film maker, mainly in Zurich.

Alex Bloom
Alex Bloom’s fascination with moving pictures was sparked whilst shooting skateboarding videos in the late 90s. When he was 23, he started studying cinematography at the first self-organized film school in Germany – the filmArche Berlin. This is where his career as a DOP began. Alex is very content driven and always focused on finding the right way of telling a story.
